Since our launch, IPv6 has been one of the most requested features in our major line services. Today, we are excited to announce that public IPv6 addresses are now available for all our Zen Server, Dedicated and Colocation product line. IPv6 can be enabled upon request to our rockstar Zenpipe Support Team.
IPv6 uses a 128-bit address, theoretically allowing 2128, or approximately 3.4×1038 addresses. The actual number is slightly smaller, as multiple ranges are reserved for special use or completely excluded from use.
IPv6 gives us a virtually unlimited amount of addresses. To give a perspective, you could allocate more than the entire IPv4 address spaces to every human on the planet and still have plenty of addresses leftover. There are approximately 665,570,793,348,866,943,898,599 IPv6 addresses for every square meter of the surface of the Earth.
